Hello, my name is Brandie Folken.  I am a mother of two grown boys, I married the love of my life and biggest supporter Chad in June of 2016. Together we have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. I have been in the family childcare business for 20 plus years. In 2015 I started my journey to go back to school. I started at Duluth Business University for my Business Management degree. However, they closed their doors before I could graduate. I was offered the opportunity to open our childcare center and switched my major. Therefore, I transferred to Rasmussen College to start my Associates of Applied Science-Early Childhood Education. I  Graduated in June 2019. With the help of our staff, I feel honored to be able to assist the children in our communities to offer them a safe, educational learning environment with a twist of fun.

 My name is Brandie Peterson,  I am the assistant director here at Brandie’s Little Bears Learning  Center. I am currently attending Rasmussen College studying my Associate of Applied Science-Early Childhood Education Degree.  I’m a mother of two busy boys and a beautiful baby girl! I’ve lived on the iron range my whole life and I’m pleased to offer another child care service in our needed area! We are ready to help your children grow and learn new things every day.
